  • Are you a student seeking pre-med internships in Uganda to gain hands-on medical shadowing experience in Africa, preparing for your future medical school applications? Doctors Club Uganda offers Pre-Medical Shadowing Internship opportunities for pre-med students, undergraduates, and medical students.
  • During our Uganda pre-med internship program, participants will shadow healthcare professionals for up to 25 hours a week. This experience provides valuable insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of medical practitioners in Africa, working in environments with high patient influxes and limited resources.
  • The program exposes you to a healthcare system different from what you are accustomed to, allowing interaction with diseases prevalent in developing countries. We ensure that the clinical experience gained abroad is both enriching and lifelong rewarding.
  • Beyond shadowing, our pre-med summer internships in Uganda offer the chance to volunteer in community outreach programs, providing preventive health education, engaging with local communities, and immersing in African culture.
  • For high school (O&A’Level) students interested in medicine, we offer customized medical internships in Uganda. Our mentorship and doctor shadowing approach ensure professional supervision at all times. You’ll have a dedicated registered Ugandan doctor as a mentor, guiding you in basic clinical skills and sharing personal insights into the medical career.
  • During your pre-med study program in Uganda, you’ll shadow Ugandan doctors, observe procedures, diagnose conditions, and interact with patients.
